    Responsibilities

    • Preparing federal, state and local tax returns for a diverse client base.
    • Planning and indexing work papers; reviewing client data for reasonableness and completeness.
    • Preparing and reviewing annual and quarterly income tax provisions.
    • Performing and reviewing technical tax research, analysis, and written memorandum.
    • Assisting with tax planning, research and consulting engagements as requested.
    • Completing basic research pertaining to applicable accounting standards.
    • Providing ongoing status updates to management and direct reports.
    • Focusing on providing exceptional client services.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
    • CPA preferred; progress towards CPA exam required.
    • Minimum of two years of public accounting tax experience.
    • Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
    • Strong research and compliance skills.
    • Ability to work simultaneously on multiple client engagements and adhere to tax deadlines.
    • Strong Excel skills and experience with ProSystem tax software experience preferred.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
